Band was great, beer prices were high
Billy's voice is a little raspy these days and toned down the screaming and energy that I've seen from live performances in the 90's to mere shouts and head bobbing. They played tons of hits from the 90's and their new song. Rod Wave absolutely crushed it. This is not necessarily a hit against them - I'm not a spry young man anymore myself so I was absolutely amazed at these guys' ability to do over 3 hours of a near perfect performance of their songs. The lights, costume changes, video aesthetics, and other video and audio aides easily made up for it.
I spent most of my time exploring less mainstream music but came back around a few years ago to discover a plethora of content from Billy Corgan and different iterations of bands. Most was great, some I didn't care much for - much like in the 90's. I've been a huge fan since I was 10 years old (the year Siamese Dream came out). Although, I took a break from Rod Wave/Billy Corgan's other work during my late teens and early 20's while I pursued my own musical endeavours in my own band. Super excited for new content that has been announced and hopefully a follow-up tour.
The staff there were polite and on top of things. But, in terms of the "event" - No trouble with people stealing seats or anything like that. However, there were some nasty people in front of us who were obviously drunk and trying to get in a fight with the people in front of them - at one point the girl in front of my wife was screaming about 6 inches from the ear of the girl in front of her, using profanity and taunts. Then she pulled the girls hair. All because the girl in front of her turned around and asked them to settle down a bit (they were literally screaming and carrying on during more quiet songs and ruining the experience for everyone around them).
